Marmara All Natural Sage Tea is made of actual Velvety sage leaves from Turkey. Sage is a desert herb native to the Mediterranean. It prefers shallow, rocky soils and large amounts of sun. Our Sage Tea had a soothing aroma and floral taste. It brews to a light gold color. Cooks rely on sage for its distinct flavor and aroma for many meat dishes, and the herb also offers a number of potential health and medicinal benefits such as liver health and cramps.
Brewing Instructions for Sage Tea:
Place 1 or 2 sage leaves into a 6 ounce cup. Pour boiling water into cup and steep for 3-5 minutes. Strain and sweeten with honey. *For a caffeinated version, add ½ teaspoon of Marmara Turkish Tea for each cup.
Many herbal teas taste great when iced, to make any of our herbal teas or tea blends cold, simply double the amount of tea used. Steep with the same hot water temperature and steep time as if making hot tea, then pour the brewed tea into a cup nearly full of ice. Enjoy!
